Midtown Dallas Spotlight: Five Amazing Boroughs with Gems You Know and Love
Midtown Improvement District started 2023 with a new and exciting group of member properties defined in a new map. Working every day on all facets of safety, infrastructure and enhancing the public realm, we are now unified with five boroughs or neighborhoods: Midtown Park, Vickery, The Shops at Park Lane, the Medical Business District and Upper Greenville.
We're excited to spotlight some of the locations and businesses in each of our boroughs as a visual compass for the District. Ongoing, we'll shine a light on gems of each borough - places you'll recognize, and that we're sure you know and love.
- Enchilada's - is a landmark on Upper Greenville with a beloved menu of delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. The crowds indoors and outdoors at brunch, lunch and dinner speak for the excellence of this cheerful spot just north of Park Lane on Greenville.
-Calloway's - on Upper Greenville just north of Pineland and Greenville is an also-beloved destination for gardening with premier selections that have been acclaimed for decades. An especially busy place also these days as everyone plants their spring and summer color on patios, porches and yards!
- Domain at Midtown Park - is a beautiful multifamily community featuring beautiful one, two and three bedroom apartments and town homes in the Midtown Park. Hospitality drives the culture of the community. The property team takes the time to connect with each resident, assuring that details are considered and handled.
- Rambler Park - is also a beautiful and busy office space on Rambler just north of Walnut Hill, surrounded by lovely trees that just make the area very special. Many leading businesses call this impressive building home.
- Vickery Park Branch of the Dallas Public Library - since its opening in 2021 has been a deeply inspiring center of education and culture, with constant events that bring joy and excellence to students and their families, now seven days a week. Located on Park Lane just east of Greenville Avenue, Vickery Park Branch and the staff bring a wonderful and always-growing collection of books and educational resources to the community.
- Midtown Plaza - Midtown Plaza is also a beacon and inspiring space for the community at Fair Oaks and Park Lane. With initial launch investment and work from Better Block in 2019, Midtown Plaza is now a location that is being maintained and enhanced by Midtown Improvement District. We will be hosting special events for the community with key partner organizations in the time ahead.
- Texas Health Dallas - a level one trauma center facility, and renowned center of excellence, has numerous locations in the Medical Business District of Midtown on Greenville Avenue and on Walnut Hill. Lives are changed for the better and saved around the clock across the Texas Health campus and all buildings in Midtown.
- Midtown's amazing borough The Shops at Park Lane - at Park Lane and Greenville Avenue is a beloved destination for shopping, with premier fashion, home decor, self-care/wellness brands, dining and entertainment. The Galleries at Park Lane feature beautiful apartment homes, and the office buildings in The Shops at Park Lane are home to premier global business brands and market leaders.
